Electrolux Workplace Standard
All Electrolux activities must be conducted with respect and consideration for human rights, health and safety as well as for the environment, as outlined in the Electrolux Workplace Code of Conduct and Environmental Policy. The Electrolux Workplace Standard specifies how suppliers and Group operations alike are to maintain these high standards.
The Workplace Standard describes how Group operations and suppliers are to meet Code of Conduct and Environmental criteria. It consolidates and reflects best practice and acts as a guide to what auditing criteria Electrolux applies and what is expected of them.
Implementing the Workplace Standard
Divided into 13 chapters, the Standard corresponds to each provision within the Code of Conduct. Electrolux employees, including HR and environmental managers, undergo training and all suppliers are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct and accompanying Workplace Standard before acceptance as a supplier by Electrolux.
An added part of enabling transparency and availability is offering the Standard in multiple languages.
